Berger Houseboat Holidays operates the most modern, spacious fleet of houseboats and also offers BBQ boats to cruise the Tweed River in NSW, just south of the Gold Coast. Fleet established by the current owner in 1994 and with 30 years experience, we are the most experienced houseboat operators on the Tweed River.

No Boat License?
No worries! We provide a full briefing before you embark, and you can also watch an induction video to prepare in advance.
Our full-day hires are available every day of the week, including school holidays, from 8am to 4pm NSW time. If you’re short on time, ask about our midweek half-day specials – our team can provide details on boarding and return times.

What to bring on your BBQ Boat Hire?
Bring your own food, drinks, fishing gear, and cooking utensils. Bait, tackle, and ice are available at the marina, and we also offer rod hire if needed. Full maps are provided on board. While some driving restrictions apply, we may be able to extend your cruising area to include spots like Chinderah—just let us know in advance so we can arrange additional fuel (fuel charges apply).

- TV’s are available for those sport loving boaties! Request on booking
- Bait bucket and chopping board
- Map of the river of where you can and can’t go
- Life jackets are provided onboard
- Kids life jackets are available on request
- $250 security bond required on boarding
- NSW Fishing Licence included
