Held at the Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne, this exciting annual Thoroughbred horserace sees the nation’s finest horses complete over a 2-mile/3,200 metre circuit every second Tuesday in November. It’s watched by people all over Australia as well as New Zealand and is both the country’s most prestigious horserace and the richest handicap race in the world. There will be sweeps and best-dressed prizes, as well as TAB facilities available in Mack’s from 8.30am.
