If you’ve not ventured down to Murwillumbah for a while, the rural town’s hip vintage, handmade and flea market is a very good reason to pack the car, your kids and your favourite tunes, before plunging into the countryside for some of that welcomed fresh air to check out the Tweed Valleys best new creative market Murwillumbah’s Makers & Finders Market.
Set at a stunning location in the family friendly Knox Park in Murwillumbah with Wollumbin Mount Warning in the background. Take the time to relax under the shade of the trees, throw a blanket on the grass and enjoy the live music while the children play at the newly renovated Youth Precinct and skate facilities with something to entertain and delight kids of all ages.
Local vendors sell items that range from farm fresh produce, incredible vintage clothing, original artwork, jewellery and beauty products, workshops and music. Once you’ve worked up an appetite perusing everything on offer, you can take your pick of drool-inducing snacks and drinks and then take a drive into the surrounding lush hinterland of the Tweed Valley’s rainforests.
