Leave the crowded boats behind and join Gold Coast Whale Watch on a personalised, small group whale watching adventure with a maximum of 12 passengers on board our Cougar Catamaran, Reef Cat II.
Your skippers, Bec and Kaleb, have extensive knowledge and experience on the “Humpback Highway”, both working on various whale watching, diving and fishing vessels from the Great Barrier Reef down to Port Stephens, for 20+ years each, with the majority of their experience being on the Gold Coast.
The Whale Watching Boat – Reef Cat II is a fast and stable vessel with ample seating (inside and out), an electric flushing toilet and a roof with roll up side curtains to help keep you protected from the elements. It has 2 quiet, smokeless Yamaha outboard engines and is equipped with modern electronics and all required safety gear.
At 10m long and 3.5m wide, she’s plenty large enough for you to comfortably move around or sit back and take it all in, but she’s small enough to have you closer to the water, which means closer to the action! She’s perfect for photographers and videographers too.
The whales and dolphins just love Reef Cat II, and often come over for a closer look due to her size.
Whale Watching on the Gold Coast runs from May to September each year.
