Hot91 Ignite Chilli Festival the Hottest Event in QLD is reigniting in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast on Saturday 17 November and it’s FREE to enter!
Whether the thought of chillies drains the colour from your face, or you sprinkle jalapenos on your cereal, chillies unquestioningly bring an unparalleled and lingering sensation of warmth and flavour to a dish.
Currently, the largest festival in Queensland, the Hot91 Ignite Chilli Festival aims to become the largest in Australia. Featuring the Sunshine Coast Chilli Eating Championships, the festival brings together a range of new and diverse food experiences from around the world – each tailored to turn up the heat.

Reigniting on Saturday 17 November on Bulcock Street, the Hot 91 Ignite Chilli Festival will return to Caloundra with all the same spicy entertainment enjoyed last year and a whole lot more.
Showcasing the colour and vibrancy of chillies the festival will fuse food, music, roving entertainment and cooking demonstrations from 9am to 6pm.
With more than 10,000 people expected to attend, this Caloundra festival is attracting loving vendors and experts from all over south-east Queensland – from the Gold Coast to Toowoomba to Gympie and beyond.

Masterchef runner-up, Sunshine Coast local and part-owner of popular Sunshine Beach restaurant, Matt Sinclair will be the Hot 91 Ignite Chilli Festival 2018 celebrity chef. Matt – among the most successful of the MasterChef alumni – launched his incredibly popular restaurant, Sum Yung Guys, in 2017 alongside three talented friends in the industry.
With the steam of the inaugural Hot 91 Ignite Chilli Festival enduring long after the burning sensation left our lips, the festival of chillies herbs and spices is back, hot and raring to go.
