Chinatown Street Markets
Come and enjoy an authentic Asian food experience with your family and friends at the Gold Coast Chinatown Street Markets. Chinatown on the Gold Coast comes alive with Asian culture, children’s activities and entertainment. The Markets will offer a blend of cuisines from across Asia, or why not try one of the many restaurants in Chinatown on the Gold Coast and enjoy the atmosphere.
Since the Chinatown Street Markets were launched in March 2015, people have visited from all over the Gold Coast and beyond to nosh on noodles, down dim sims and savour boundless other Asian-style foods on offer, as well as enjoy the live music and relaxed atmosphere.
With tasty street food, eclectic entertainment, regular showcases, live cooking demonstrations and cultural celebrations changing with the seasons, the markets is set to put culture back into the streets, right in the heart of the Gold Coast CBD.
There will be free bicycle maintenance checks to all those that ride their bike to the event!
No bottled water sold during this event. Instead, free water refills will be available so don’t forget to bring your own bottle.

The markets operate from 5pm to 9pm, centred on Davenport Street and Davison Lane, Southport.
