Beach Cricket & BBQ in the Park
The classic way to celebrate Australia Day in true style is the good ‘ole BBQ in the park with a bit of beach cricket. The City of Gold Coast has more than 380 barbecues located in the many parks and reserves across the Gold Coast. These barbecues are cleaned and serviced frequently by the City’s maintenance team, making sure they are available for residents and visitors to enjoy at no charge. Bring your own sausages and don’t forget the sunscreen!
