Whale Watch Gold Coast Itinerary

Join us aboard Whale Watch 1 as we take in the sights of the beautiful Gold Coast Broadwater and begin our search for local Bottlenose Dolphins and seabirds on our journey towards the Humpback Whale sighting grounds.  The east coast of Australia welcomes the arrival every winter and spring of over 35,000 Humpback Whales who make their annual migration from Antarctica to the northern nursery grounds before returning back again.

Our sighting grounds are located along the coastline that embraces the Surfers Paradise skyline and is one of the most beautiful and unique locations in the world to Whale Watch. Our passionate and experienced team will take you through a moment by moment interpretation of the behaviours you will witness and intelligent whales you meet.

Whale Watch 1 (our vessel), has been specifically designed to immerse you in the world of the whales with our water level viewing providing an intimate and inspiring encounter with the wildlife and environment around you. Our Whale Watch TV Theatre live streams underwater footage of our close encounters which can be enjoyed from the comfort of your seat. Tune in to the songs and sounds of the whales as our live hydrophone is deployed and recordings taken to further our research.
