2022 Aquaduck Brick Competition – Win a $1600 Gold Coast family holiday
A 3 night family holiday valued at more than $1600 is up for grabs in this year’s Aquaduck brick building competition. Competition opens Wednesday 20th April and builders have until the Sunday after the final episode of the brick building competition currently airing on TV (we are not allowed to say their name – date to be advised) to get their entries in. Every child who enters will receive a free child’s ticket on the Aquaduck.
“We know how excited the kids get making their builds and sending us their photos. We wanted to make sure that effort was rewarded. So even if they don’t win the major prize, every child who submits an entry will receive a free child pass to come and ride the Aquaduck” Managing Director, Sarah Colgate.
This year entrants are required to build an Australian native animal to enter the competition and are encouraged to share a fun fact about their animal when uploading their entry. “We hope this year’s competition is both educational and fun. It’s a great way to encourage kids to understand and appreciate our native Australian wildlife and a gentle reminder on the importance of wildlife conservation” explains Colgate.
In addition to the 3 night Gold Coast family holiday, Aquaduck will also adopt the winner’s choice of native Australian animal. The winner can choose to adopt either a Koala, Echidna, Wombat or Bilby. Native animal adoptions are available through Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
There will be one lucky winner who will receive a Gold Coast family holiday prize package valued at more than $1,600 including:

Every child entry will receive a free child’s pass on the Aquaduck!
This brick building stuff can be hard work for little fingers. We know how hard the kids work from researching ideas for their build, sorting through bricks, then bringing their vision to life. To say thank you for your time and effort in creating your build, we are giving a free Aquaduck (choice of Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast) child’s pass to each child who submits their own entry in the competition.
Free child pass t’s and c’s:
Each child (under 16 years) who submits an entry will receive a child pass on the Aquaduck. Maximum of 1 child pass per child. Maximum of 1 child pass per entry. Each child is required to submit their own individual entry. If one entry is submitted by multiple kids, only 1 child pass will be issued. Maximum of 3 child passes per family. You can submit more than one entry per child into the competition, but you will only receive one child pass.
2022 Aquaduck Brick Competition – How To Enter
To enter, builders need to create an Australian Native Animal themed build. You can choose to build an animal on its own or to create a scene and include some fun story telling. From underwater wonders to desert lizards and furry marsupials there are lots of animals to choose from and kids can get creative:
Post a photo of your creation on Facebook & Instagram using the hashtag #AquaduckBricks
tagging the official Aquaduck account (make sure your post is set to public or we won’t see your entry.)
Include the child’s age and first name on your entry. Winner must be 16 years and under.
Everyone is welcome to share their builds but the winner will be chosen from entrants aged 16 years and under.
