Tamborine Cooking School is situated in the Gold Coast hinterland, 40 minutes from Surfers Paradise and 1 hour from Brisbane where the air is fresh, the gardens are lush and the birds sing. The colonial styled house is set in 2 acres of landscaped show gardens and much of the organic produce used in your lunch is grown in the kitchen garden.
The classes are held every weekend and sometimes during the week upon request, extra days scheduled for private parties and celebrations including Hens Parties, Corporate team building and Birthdays. The menus include French, Moroccan, Spanish, Italian, Australian and Light Asian cuisines.
Terri is a qualified chef and loves nothing more than opening her house to guests; the meals are cooked in a traditional way but with a lighter fresh approach. An entertaining but relaxing day is guaranteed.
The classes start at 10am and the 8 courses are prepared in a relaxed hands on no pressure atmosphere, then the wine is opened and the meal is served to you degustation style at a beautifully laid table with views over the Scenic Rim.
