Fishing Smooth Water is the Gold Coast’s inshore fishing specialist that focuses, on calm water, so your fishing experience is relaxing and comfortable. Fishing from the custom built 5.6m Bluefin Barracuda powered by a 140hp Suzuki outboard and 80lb Minn Kota electric motor, you’ll target estuary, river and bay species such as; flathead, bream, whiting, mulloway, estuary cod and snapper.
You can keep your catch fresh in the boat’s live-well to take home with you or employ catch & release tactics. All equipment and live bait is provided. The experience is personalised with only exclusive, private charters for up to 4 people.
There is also a freshwater Hinterland option to target Australian bass, golden perch, silver perch, Mary River cod and saratoga. This is ideal for the family fishing from the 5.6m Barracuda or for large corporate groups which can utilise an additional nine 3.8m Bluefin Varmint boats that are powered by 55lb Minn Kota electric motors, creating a fishing experience for up to 40 people.

• Half Day $500 6-11am or 12-5pm (5 hours)
• Extended Day $750 *6am-1:30pm (7.5 hours)

WHAT TO BRING
The vessel is equipped with a fridge/freezer, so you are welcome to bring snacks and refreshments. We recommend you wear light, long sleeve clothing, together with a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, so you have adequate protection from the Gold Coast sun.
