Sail from the Gold Coast Broadwater to the open ocean aboard our purpose-built sailing catamaran. Watch for Humpback Whales and other marine life, and enjoy breathtaking displays of breaching, tail slapping, and playful interactions.

As the only sailing catamaran offering Whale Watching on the Gold Coast, Aria Cruises offers an intimate experience with a maximum of 28 passengers, ensuring a personalised and memorable outing.

- Sail to See the Whales – Please note, sailing is weather dependent and requires suitable wind conditions.
- Morning Tea – Enjoy biscuits, lamingtons and muffins with tea or coffee.
- Lunch – A variety of baguettes and wraps. Drinks available from our fully licensed bar.
- Our Whale Guarantee – If no whales are sighted, we’ll offer you a return ticket free of charge.
- Expert Commentary – Our knowledgeable crew provide insightful commentary on marine life and local oceanography.

What Else Can You See on Your “Sail to the Whales” Cruise?
Dolphins: Spot a variety of dolphin species, including Indo-Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins, Australian Humpback Dolphins, and more.
DID YOU KNOW… Bottlenose Dolphins can live up to 45 years and are known for their playful behaviour, including leaping and bow-riding?
Sharks: Look out for impressive shark species such as Tiger Sharks, Bull Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks, and even Great White Sharks, which often follow the Humpback Whale migration.
DID YOU KNOW…
A group of sharks is known as a shiver!
Turtles: Observe Loggerhead and Green Sea Turtles as they travel along Queensland’s coastline. These turtles use the East Australian Current (EAC) for migration, reminiscent of Dory’s journey in Finding Nemo.
